The XDS Bipod is capable of 25 degrees of cant on each side of the centerline of the barrel.
This feature increases rough terrain adjustability.
A thumbnut operated fully adjustable tension mechanism,allows for the tension on the canting mechanism to be adjusted to best suit the terrain and mission requirement.
Rotate the thumb nut to obtain the desired tension.
A slotted screw on the bottom of the cant tensioning humbnut provides the ability to preload the cant tension beyond the normal tension load of the thumbnut.
