韓国は、一瞬日本にいるかのような錯覚もあるくらい似ているとこもあれば、まったく違う瞬間が訪れることがあり、常に微妙な距離感が韓国の地ではつきまとっていました。
私はデジタルカメラを一日１０００枚くらいの速度で撮影します。それを高速スライドショーで、動画としてみていくことを試みています。
韓国の街の中で写り込む自分の姿を撮影しながら、近いようで遠い存在の韓国という地にいることが実感する事がありました。

When I was in Korea, there are moments you feel you were having an illusion as if you were in Japan, and you feel quite differently in other moments. This feeling of subtle distance were every where I go in the land of Korea.

I take about one thousand photos every day with my digital camera. I have been attempting to create a video clip showing them in a very high speed as slide shows.

I often felt Korea being a very close and yet a far distant county when I was shooting myself submerged in towns of Korea.
