私はこの冬休み、スキーに行きました。久しぶりのスキーだったのではじめは転んでいましたが、だんだんと慣れて午後にはうまく滑れるようになりました。とても楽しかったです。旅行以外には主に家の手伝いや父の仕事の手伝いをしました。皿洗いや掃除、洗濯が主な仕事です。大晦日には大掃除で、床に掃除機をかけたりゴミ捨てなどをしました。父の手伝いは商品の袋詰めなどをしました。大晦日の夜は、テレビでガキの使いや紅白歌合戦などを見ました。元旦の朝は、家族でお雑煮を食べて新年を迎えました。

I went skiing during this winter holiday. I had not skied for a long while, so at first I kept falling down, but I gradually got used to it and in the afternoon I was able to ski well. I had a lot of fun. Besides this trip, I helped with household chores and also helped my father with his work. Mainly I did the dishes, cleaning, and laundry. On the New Year’s Eve we cleaned the entire house, vacuuming the floor and taking out garbage. I helped my father putting products into bags etc. At night, I watched TV shows such as “Gakinotsukai” and “Kohaku Uta Gassen.” We celebrated the New Year eating the zoni dish.
