Tokopedia recently celebrated its second anniversary. Lucky for us, its co-founder William Tanuwijaya is willing to share some interesting facts about the company during its second year.

Despite the newness of Tokopedia it has made some remarkable achievements. Not only has it become a trendsetter in Indonesia’s e-commerce landscape, but it has put up some fascinating numbers for a company of its size. For example, total transactions recorded during the second year were Rp36.031 billion (US$4.2 million). That’s up significantly from last year’s Rp5.954 billion (or about US$697,000).
