Mana is a charismatic figure in the Gothic-Lolita style that has attracted global attention.
So what is the story behind Mana who yearns to be a global Gothic-Lolita?

Malice Mizer was a Japanese band. They are generally known as a "visual-kei" band. They were formed in August 1992 and stopped producing music December 31, 2001. The band's name originated from the French translation of the Japanese words "akui" (ill will, malice) and "higeki" (disaster).

Even in the visual-kei world, Malice Mizer was an especially colorful presence.

Mana uses blue as her theme color from the Malice Mizer era.

Uh, wrong! ALL CAPS is not necessary just because it's in the genko. You need to research your topic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malice_Mizer). The rest of it is basically rewording what I wrote and offers no improvement. Your capitalization is inconsistent. Mana is most likely a female name. You only have a valid point on the second sentence.

I think you are the one who is lacking research. "MALICE MIZER" is the official stylization (as stated in the Wikipedia article you linked me). Considering that the original text has it stylised all in upper caps, I don't see any reason to change it to lowercase, hence I changed it back. Regardless of whether or not Mana is a female name, Mana from Malice Mizer is definitely a man, which you would have found out if you had Googled him first. Also, why romanize the Japanese words in the "akui" (ill will, malice) and "higeki" (disaster)" part? Nowhere in the original text is there a part that says "Japanese words", so they should be translated as is. They are in brackets because they are a concept. I felt that you just added phrases that are not needed. I did like the "colorful presence" phrase as it really fit in well with the original Japanese and the whole visual-kei scene, though.
