「ギャグマンガ日和」は、私がとにかく大好きな作品の一つです
タイトルの通りギャグ漫画で、一話完結型なので入りやすいと思います
各話の独特な題字は、ほとんど作者の増田先生がてがけているのですが、
先生のお母さんや担当さんが書いたこともあるそうですよ
歴史上の偉人や有名人がキャラクターになっていることも多いのですが、
持っていたイメージをぶち壊されると思います。特に松尾芭蕉と聖徳太子
出てくるキャラクターがどこか卑屈だったり、独特の性癖を持っていたりするのは、この作品のお約束みたいなものです

"Gyagu Manga Biyori (Good Day for Gag Manga)" is one of my most favorite works by all means. It is as the titles says a gag strip cartoon, which, I think easy to start reading as it is self-contained of a story.
The title letters of each story are mostly written by Mr. Masuda, the author, but occasionally by his mother or his agent person, they say.
He often chooses great historical persons or celebrities as the characters, but they will, I'm sure, spoil your own image of them; especially so in the cases of Matsuo Basho and Prince Shotokubook. The characters tends to be somewhat servile or have a unique propensity and its something like a rule of this production.
