As you are an English native speaker, I would like to ask you a few things.
First of all, are you quite sure of your translation? I would take this source text differently, just as your co-translator did. That is, this guy is not asking if you can see the entire machine itself. But he is asking if you can see the process of grazing doughnuts through the machine.
I don't think you can avoid seeing the machine when you see the process.
What would you think?
There was another requester who posted the same text. And I gave 2 stars to the translator who translated just as same as you did, so I'm very curious what a native English speaker would see this sentence.

仮にグレーズの課程を見れる機械になっているか、という意味だと、visible が必要なくなってしまいます。
