Mark Schreiber was born in 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been writing unrelentingly since he graduated high school at the age of fifteen. A few works have made it into print, including a nonfiction adventure, Dreams of the Solo Trapeze: Offstage With the Cirque du Soleil. His first novel, Princes in Exile, set at a summer camp for kids with cancer, was published in ten countries and made into a film.

マーク・シュライバーは1960年、オハイオ州、シンシナティ市で生まれた。　１５歳で高校を卒業以来がむしゃらに執筆活動を続けてきて、　いくつかの作品は出版された。　その中にはノンフィクションの冒険物で『ソロ・トラペズの夢：シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユの舞台裏』等がある。　彼の処女作『亡命中の王女』は癌を煩っている子供達のサマーキャンプが舞台となっていて１０カ国で出版され映画にもなっている。
