富士山の世界文化遺産登録を記念して山梨県側のふもとの理容店の組合が髪を富士山の形に刈り込む「富士山刈り」を考案し、３０日、開かれた技術講習会で披露されました。
「富士山刈り」は県理容生活衛生同業組合の富士五湖支部が考案し、３０日富士吉田市で開かれた技術講習会で披露されました。
「富士山刈り」ではまず、バリカンで頭の左右を５ミリの長さに刈ります。
そして小さなバリカンを使って左側に富士山を刈り込んでいきます。

In commemoration of Mt. Fuji's being registered on the World Heritage List, an union of barbers of the city at the foot of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture side has invented the "Fujisan Gari", which represents a hairdo from trimming in a shape of Mt. Fuji. And they performed it on a technical lecture class held on 30th.
The "Fujisan Gari" is an idea from the Fujigoko branch of the Prefecture Barber Life-Sanitation Guild, and was performed on a technical lecture class held in Fuji Yoshida city on 30th.
In "Fujisan Gari", you trim both right and left side of a head with an electrical shaver by 5mm at first. Then, you trim left side in a shape of Mt.Fuji.
