こちらは「日蓮」が旅の途中で病気が重くなり、お世話になったお屋敷があった場所です。この家でお世話になり、療養しましたが、治らずに亡くなった場所です。時は1282年、今から730年前の出来事です。鎌倉時代でした。
ここは池上宗仲公邸の屋敷があった場所です。
日蓮の病気は重篤でしたが、亡くなるまでの1か月間、この部屋で多くの弟子や信者に法華経の講義をしました。日蓮はまっすぐ座ることができず、柱に寄りかかりながらも講義をしました。ここにある

Nichiren had a serious illnes, however, he gave a lecture of the Lotus Sutra to many of his pupils and believers for a month until he passed away.
