２～３行目に、if を使うのが多すぎるので、もう少し工夫してみると良いと思います。（同じ言葉を何回も使わない方が、良いです。）
４行目のyou and Iは、Ｗｅ　にしてしまって良いと思います。

全体的に、日本語をそのまま、英訳にしない方が英文としてスッキリすると思いますので、英文に変えてから、もう１度見直してみて下さい。（人の事を言えれませんが。。）
