苦手な科目をとことん勉強した。私は二つの塾を掛け持ちし、ひとつは受験の名門校に通い、もうひとつは個別指導の塾に通っていた。受験の時期になるまでは、塾へ行ってもあまり勉強に対して真剣ではく、友達としゃべっていることが多かった。私が猛勉強するようになってからは勉強する時間はとことん集中した。そして塾が終わると、コンビニの駐車場で友達とカップラーメンを食べながらしゃべった。家に帰ってもなぜか勉強のスイッチが切れなかったので、毎晩夜中の３時まで勉強して寝た。

I studied hard subjects I was not good at. I went to two cramming schools -- one is prestigious for entrance exams, another for individual tutorial. Until the time of exams, I did not focus on studying at those schools; instead, I often chatted with friends. After I began to study hard, I devoted myself to my studies. After the cramming schools, my friends and I ate instant noodles in the parking lot of a convenience store while chatting. Even after going home, I could not stop studying, so I went to bed at 3 in the morning.
