Dear Hideyuki,

at the moment we can’t deduct VAT from our invoices. The problem is we send with normal DHL in a cost effective way. The tax office in Germany requires a lot of documentation for the export in order to be able to deduct VAT. That can’t be provided by DHL. If we would do so, we need to ship with DHL Express, UPS, etc. But that finally would be much more expensive than normal DHL and result in a higher price than the VAT.
If things will change I will inform you.

拝復ヒデユキ様、

現在のところ、当方では請求書からVATを控除することができません。問題は当方では費用効果がよい通常DHL便でお送りしていることです。ドイツの税務署は、輸出品のVATの控除を受けられるようにするには多くのドキュメンテーションを求めます。DHLではそれを用意いたしません。そうしたい場合は、我々はDHLエクスプレス便、UPSでの出荷する必要があります。しかし、それでは結局通常のDHL便よりもはるかに高くつき、結果はVATよりも高くなってしまうのです。
