全体的に読みやすい訳だと思いました。以下2点だけ気になりました。
①Would be willing ～の文が思いました、と過去形になってましたが、助動詞 would の丁寧表現で良いのでは、と思いました。
②appeared secure.の部分の訳がないように見えました。
