Otoyaは明るくて、優しい性格の男の子。アニメでは入学初日からナツキとマサトにニックネームを付けており、とても人懐っこい面もある。尞のルームメイトはトキヤで、たまにトキヤに勉強を教えてもらっている。幼いころから歌うことが好きだったため、自身の歌で誰かを励ますことのできる歌手を目指している。私はアニメの印象が強いですが、アニメではヒロインの女の子を助ける場面も多く見られ、また積極的にアプローチしている姿がとてもかっこよくて、歌プリの中で一番最初に惹かれたキャラクターでした！

Tokiyaはとてもクールで、あまり自身の感情を表に出すことがない。アニメの前半では主に一人で行動することが多い。ルームメイトはオトヤである。学園の成績はとても優秀で、歌も完璧に歌いこなすことができる。しかし、完璧に歌えるとは言っても譜面通りに歌えるというだけであるため、気持ちを込めて歌うことができない。アニメではヒロインと接することで、Tokiyaが自身の歌に対する気持ちに素直になって行動していく姿がとても印象的です！また、時に見せる笑顔がたまらなく乙女心をくすぐります！

However, even though he sings very well, it is unable to find the voice in the song. It is because he just sings according to musical notes.
