Repair and inspection of this item in Japan will be highly expensive (probably more than 700 dollars).
I am now in Japan and cannot check if it works or not, and the company I use for shipment to Japan says they cannot, either. Therefore I'd like to you to ask the manufacturer for quotation of repair and inspection at your side.
If the cost is higher than the amount I paid, I will give up on reparing it. Please claim the purchase amount to the insurance company. Here is the phone number for the company that I used for shipment. Please directly ask them about the details of parcel when it arrived. I'm attaching the photo here.
