The Publisher shall be solely responsible for obtaining permission at its own expense to use any matereal, whether text, photographs, illustrations, and other art included in the Work or on the jacket for which permission was obtained from a copyright proprietor other than the Author of the Work.
The Proprietor agrees to make best efforts to notify the Publisher what, if any, interior materials included in the Work require clearance for use in the Translation.
出版者は、文章、写真、イラスト、あるいは作品、あるいはジェケットに登場するもので、作品の製作者以外に著作権が帰属するものについては、それらを使用する許可を自らの費用・責任において取得するものとする。
所有者は、翻訳して使用するのに許可が必要なものが作品中にある場合は、それを出版社に通知するよう最善の努力をすることに同意する。
