ＪＣＢ、ＤＩＮＥＲＳ、ＡＭＥＸは今でも自社独自のカードを持っていますが、ＶＩＳＡとＭＡＳＴＥＲは提携先にブランドを貸与してカードが発行されています。ですので、殆どの形態のクレジットカードはこれらの会社と提携して国際クレジットカードとして発行しています。 カード発行の審査は当然、この会社自体で行っています。
2 銀行系カード
各銀行が独自にカードを発行し、独立系ブランドと提携しているケース。三井住友ＶＩＳＡ、ＵＦＪカード、りそなカード、それに加えて全国各銀行のカード等多種多彩です。
