静かなダイアモンド工場と黒いレコード盤
私たちはリクシャーに乗ってジグネシュの働く工場へ向かった。ジグネシュの家からリクシャーで５分ほどの場所にそれはある。５階建ての建物の２階に上がり扉を開けると、そこには大きな作業場が広がっていた。部屋には10数台の研磨機材が並べられており、２、３人がそれを囲み作業している。レコード盤より少し大きい黒い円形の金属盤が高速に回る中、作業員はダイアモンドを専用の機材にはめて、削る角度を下にして静かにそれを押し付ける。
The quiet diamond factory and the black vinyl
We were riding on the ricksaw heading to the warehouse where Jignesh worked in. It is about 5-minute distance from Jignesh's home. When you open the door on the second floor of that 5-storey building, you can find a huge workplace there. There are 10 sets of polishing equipment lining inside the room, and each of them is surrounded by 2 to 3 people working. The black circular metal plates slight larger than a vinyl are spinning with high speed, and the workers are using the machines dedicated to diamond, pressing against it for cutting in specific angle without talking.
