東京ビッグサイトは7月26日、ＴＡＩＴＲＡと主催展示会相互協力に関する覚書を締結した。
東京ビッグサイトは4月から事業推進部に国際事業担当を設置し、国際展開を視野に入れた海外事業の強化を図る方針を示していた。今回の覚書もこの取組みの一つで、東京ビッグサイトとＴＡＩＴＲＡの双方が主催する展示会の出展および来場支援体制の構築などの取組を進める。
これまで東京ビッグサイトは韓国のＣＯＥＸやＫＩＮＴＥＸなどと協定を締結し、従業員の交換派遣を通じて交流を図ってきた。 また、ドイツの「ＩＬＡベルリン国際航空宇宙ショー」との間で、インターナショナルパートナーとして主催協力関係を構築してきた。
今回のように公的な貿易振興機関との間で相互協力に関する覚書を締結するのは初めて。

Tokyo Big Site has been demonstrating its commitment to enhance its globalization operation by setting up International Operation Team in Business Development Division since April. This memorandum is a part of the initiatives, which promotes building entry supporting system of the exhibition that Tokyo Big site and TAITRA co-sponsor.
Tokyo Big Site has making its effort to build a good relationship through employee exchanging program by concluding agreements with COEX and KINTEX in Korea.
Also, Tokyo Big Site has been building co-hosting relationship with “ILA Berlin International Aerospace Show” in Germany as an International partner.
