I have instructed the factory to find a new shipping method to Japan. I am finding AIR to be too expensive.
Question: What did you find out with Nittsu? Is it possible for you to get an account with them? Will it be easier/cheaper to get the goods delivered to Nittsu facility in Hong-Kong? (and from there to you directly?)
The problem with Ocean Freight for small quantities is that you pay all the port fees/ agent fees etc., but they are going to be also high per unit because the order is small. (lets say it will be ~$500 but divide by 56 units = $8.9/unit ! still expensive)
