This was my first visit to Shanghai, and I was surprised at the change the scenery I say during the move from the airport to the hotel At the airport the light was not so bright and the building around the airport were dirty-looking, which gave somewhat desolate image of a developing country. However, once the bus went into the city, I could see many high-rise buildings and heavy-looking western style constructions, which gave me the atmosphere of the development of recent China. During the city sightseeing afterward, I could see many multinational peoples (foreigners to China) and the city was very vivid

I visited Shanghai for the first time and was surprised when I was travelling to the hotel how the view keeps changing. The airport has dim lights which made me feel somewhat sad but when I approached the city, streets are filled with stately Western buildings which indicate the recent development in China. When sightseeing later on I saw people of many nationalities walking by, which made the town lively.
