Quality and quantity
Don't fall into the trap of believing this myth. Kids need to have quality time and quantities of time. Quantity of time instills in them a sense of value that even high-quality time can't. While managing workers is different from raising a family, the principle is the same. Employees can gain a sense of personal value if they are worthy of time with their supervisor.
Managers are stretched to complete all the tasks they are responsible for in the eight hours that they have each day.

質と量
この神話を信じるワナにはまってはならない。子どもには時間の質も量も必要である。たっぷりとした時間は質の高い時間でさえも教え込むことのできない価値観を子どもに教え込む。部下を管理することは家族を育てることとは違うが、原則は同じである。社員は自分が監督者と時間を過ごす価値があることがわかれば、個人的に価値があるという感じを得られる。
マネージャーは社員が持っている一日8時間の間に、彼らが責任がある全ての仕事を完了できるように能力一杯に働くべきである。
