Nearly every team sport in. America uses cheerleaders. Many people have come to believe that cheerleaders have little to do with the game. But they are an integral part of what everyone calls the home team advantage or home field advantage. What gives the home team an advantage? Things like knowledge of the field and comfort in the environment are very helpful to the home team. Another great advantage is the large group of supportive fans cheering the team on.
The job of the cheerleaders is to get the enthusiasm of the crowd focused on the team and the players' accomplishments.
アメリカのスポーツチームのほぼ全てがチアリーダーを使っている。多くの人は、チアリーダーは試合に殆ど関係していないと思いがちである。しかし、それは地元チームの強みと呼ばれるものに欠かせない一部なのである。地元の強みで何を得るだろうか？フィールドを良く知っているという事や心地よい慣れ親しんだ環境は、地元チームにとって大変ありがたいだろう。他の大きな強みは、多くのサポートファンがチームを応援してくれることだ。チアリーダーの仕事は、群集の情熱をチームとプレーヤーの素晴らしいプレイに集める事である。
