CHAPTER 11-1
When you push authority down, you are forcing the people who work for you to make more decisions. When you begin this process, one major temptation will be to step in and make the important decisions. This is an area where you will have to be very careful. For high-level decisions, things that you alone are responsible for, making decisions will be appropriate. But the more decisions you make, the less authority you are giving employees.

権力を押し付けると、被雇用者により多くの決定を下すことを強制することになる。このプロセスを開始すると、踏み込んで重大な決定を下すという大きな誘惑に駆られる。これには細心の注意を払わなければいけない。高度な決定で、しかも自分一人に責任があるものについては、決定を下すという行為は適切であるが、多くの決定を下せば下すほど、被雇用者から権力を奪うことにもなるのである。
