短歌とは日本の韻文の一形式で五・七・五・七・七の五句３１音で構成されています。1000年以上前に生まれたこの詩形は現在でも多くの日本人によって親しまれています。このアプリケーションは山田太郎（サラリーマン、詩人）が大学生の頃に詠んだ歌を22首収録されています。日本語も併録されていますので、日本語の勉強にも使用できます。

"Tan-ka" is one of the forms of Japanese rhymes. It is composed by the five-seven-five-seven-seven words, total thirty one words. This style was accomplished more than 1000 years ago, yet it is still familiar to most Japanese people. This application includes 22 Tanka poems, made by Mr Taro YAMADA when he was in a college, who now is a businessman and a poet. You can use this for your Japanese study by the Japanese translation included in this application.

Tanka is one typical Japanese poetic style and it's composed of 5-7-5-7-7 series of syllables. It's invented more than a thousand years ago and is still popular among many Japanese today. This application includes 22 tankas of Taro Yamada (a salary-man and a poet). You can learn Japanese using this application, as it also contains poems in Japanese, too.
