そう言ってヒイラギはソファのほうへ向かう。
ナツメが何も言わずに付き添うと、ヒイラギは申し訳なさそうに「ありがとう」と小さく笑った。
ミズキ：「見えないって、大変なんですね」
ナツメ：「こら、ミズキくん」
ミズキ：「え、あ、すみません………っ！」
ヒイラギ：「気にしなくていいよ。率直な感想だろうから」
ヒイラギ：「確かに見えないのは困るし悲しいけれど、触れ合えば相手の存在がわかるし、声で誰かを探すこともできる。足音さえ聞こえれば、独りではないって安心できるよ」
Hiiragi says so and walks towards the sofa.
Natsume follows him without saying a word, and Hiiragi says "thank you" to Natsume apologetically and gives a little smile on his face.
Mizuki : "It must be hard not seeing a thing"
Natsume : "Hey, Mizuki kun!"
Mizuki : "Eh... ah, so, sorry....!"
Hiiragi : "Don't worry. It's just your honest thought"
Hiiragi : "It is hard and sad being blind, but I can tell there is someone by feeling him or her, and you can even look for someone by his or her voice. I even feel relieved to find I am not alone when I hear foot steps around me"
ミズキ：「………すみません」
ヒイラギ：「謝らなくていいよ。………ああ、じゃあ時間があるときは相手をしてほしいな。国賓の扱いを受けると、あまり自由に外に出してもらえないんだ。見えないから尚更ね」
ミズキ：「はい」
冷たい現実を受け続けていたせいなのか、ヒイラギの考え方は大人だった。
それでも冷酷ではなかった。寧ろ誰よりもあたたかい心だと思う。
予想通り、部屋の掃除は簡単だった。
Mizuki : "..... I am sorry"
Hiiragi : "Don't be. Oh then, stick around and entertain me when you have free time. I am often not allowed to go out freely as they take me as a national guest. It's more so because I am blind"
Mizuki : "Certainly"
Hiiragi's mind is full of maturity, maybe because he has been hit by harsh reality.
Even so, he is never cruel. No, if anything, he has the warmest heart than anyone else does.
As expected, cleaning of the room was rather easy.
ヒイラギを交えて三人で会話をしながらの掃除だったので時間がかかってしまってはいたが、楽しい一時だった。
掃除を終えて部屋を出ていくのが名残惜しいとすら思う。
会議が終わったと聞いていたので王子と鉢合わせするのかと思われたが、王子は会議の後すぐ隣国へ向かったらしい。
ミズキ：「隣国って、神聖ルナマリア皇国のことか？ あそこは宗教国家のはずだろ。そんなところで何をするんだ？」
ナツメ：「ルナマリアの皇子と会食なんだってさ」
The cleaning took a little longer than they thought as three of them, including Hiiragi, chatted throughout, but it was such a pleasant time.
They were even reluctant having to leave the room after cleaning.
They heard the meeting was over, so they thought they would run into prince. But then, prince seems to have left for the neighboring country right after the meeting.
Mizuki : "Is the neighboring country the Holy Lunamaria Empire? That country is a religious empire. What on earth is he going to do in there?"
Natsume : "It seems he's going to have an official meal with the prince of Lunamaria"
ミズキ：「会食って、ただ食事するだけだよな。それが仕事なのか？」
ナツメ：「そういう場所に行って他国のご機嫌を取るのも王族の仕事だ、って、前に王子が言ってたよ」
ナツメが王子の真似をしながら言う。
口調がやたら似ていて、ミズキは思わず笑ってしまった。
ミズキ：「………ヒイラギさんに何かしてあげたいなぁ。さっき失礼なこと言っちゃったし、平気とは言ってたけどやっぱり寂しそうだし………時間があるとき相手をしてほしいって言われても、何をすればいいのか………」
Mizuki:"Dining means just eating right?Is it a job?"
Natsume"The prince used to say it is one of royal's job to participate in such occasion and entertain other countries."
Natsume said while imitating the prince.
Mizuki laghed as the way she imitate the prince was just like him.
Mizuki:"...Want to help Hiiragi.I said something rude just then and he looks lonely even he says he is ok...He asked me to be with him when i am free, but i do not know what to do..."
ナツメ：「うーん、難しいねぇ。目が見えないから物を贈るのはあんまりだし………」
ミズキ：「俺がピアノを弾けたらなー」
ナツメ：「ピアノ？」
ミズキ：「ヒイラギさんの部屋にあったろ？ 曲を聴くなら見えなくても問題ないし」
ナツメ：「それいいね！ 夕方から練習しようよ！」
ミズキ：「夕方じゃ迷惑じゃないか？」
ナツメ：「大丈夫。王子が小さい頃使ってたってピアノ部屋があるんだ。今は使われてないし、防音バッチリだから」
ミズキ：「よし！ やろう！」
Natsume:"Nnn, it is difficult.As he is blind, it is not good idea to send some gifts..."
Mizuki:"I wish i could play the piano"
Natsume:"Piano?"
Mizuki:"You see one in Hiiragi's room right?You do not need to see if you just listen to the music."
Natsume:"Thats good!Lets practice from this afternoon!"
Mizuki:"Doesn't it annoy someone if we do that in the afternoon?"
Natsume:"No problem.There ia a piano room the prince used to use when he was a child.That room is fully soundproofed and no one is using it."
Mizuki:"All right!Lets do it!"
マユミ：「あなたたち、随分と楽しそうね」
ミズキ：「は、はいぃ！」
ナツメ：「モチベーションを上げてやる気を起こしてまーす！」
マユミ：「………」
ナツメの言い訳にマユミは呆れたようだったが、さっさと部屋を出ていった。
それと入れ替わりに、ネムが首を傾げながら入ってくる。
しかしふとミズキを見て、メイド長と似たような表情をした。
ネム：「………ミズキ。ナツメも。お前ら………なんか気持ち悪いぞ」
ナツメ：「メイド長にも同じような目で見られたよ」
Mayumi:"You guys seem to be having fun"
Mizuki:"Y..Yes!"
Natsume:"We are tring to motivate ourselves!"
Mayumi:"........"
Although Mayumi looked amazed with Natsume's excuse, she quickly left the room.
At the same time, Nem comes into the room inclining his head to the side."
He saw Mizuki, then showed similar facial expression to the maid master.
Nem: "...Mizuki... Also Natsume.You...You two look weird"
Natsume: "The maid master also looked at us just like you do now."
ネム：「あー、だからメイド長が複雑な顔をしてたわけか。俺、今ならメイド長に全力同意できるわ」
ミズキ：「どーいう意味だよっ！」
ネム：「顔がにやけてる」
ハッとして顔に手をやる。
ネムが「自覚なしかよ」と肩を竦めた。
ナツメ：「仕事が終わったらピアノ部屋に行こうと思って」
ネム：「ピアノ部屋って、あの暗い部屋か？」
ミズキ：「暗い？ 王子の部屋なのに？」
Nem:"Oh, that is why the maid master had the complex face.Now i can fully agree the maid master."
Mizuki"What do you mean!!"
Nem:"You are smiling."
Mizuki got startled and touchs his face.
Nem shruged his shoulders saying, "You do not realize it".
Natsume:I am planning to go to the Piano room after work."
Nem:"The piano room means the dark room?"
Mizuki:"Dark?Even if it is prince's toom?"
ネム：「王子の部屋っつっても、子供のころに使ってた部屋だぞ。今は誰も使ってないから年末の大掃除にしか掃除しないし」
ミズキ：「………ナツメ」
ナツメ：「………まぁどうにかなるって！」
部屋は薄暗く、一年に数度しか掃除しないこともあって空気が埃っぽい。
口を押さえながら部屋に入って窓を開くと、冬の冷たい空気が美味しく感じた。
ナツメがピアノの蓋を開けて、中を確かめる。
椅子は埃だらけで、ナツメも座ろうとはしなかった。
Nemu : "Though it's a prince's room, it's a room used by him as a kid. It is no longer used by anybody, so the room gets cleaned only at the end of the year"
Mizuki : "........ Natsume"
Natsume : "...... Well, whatever will be will be!"
The room is dimly-lit, and it is dusty for it's cleaned only a few times in a year.
Getting into the room with the mouth covered and opening the window, the wintery cold air feels like it tastes good.
Natsume opens the piano cover and checks inside.
The chair is covered with full of dust, and even Natsume does not want to sit on it.
ナツメ：「ピアノは平気みたいだよ」
白い鍵盤にナツメの指が載ると、ピアノは澄んだ音で歌う。
ナツメはそのまま鍵盤に手を置き、複雑な手の動きで軽快な音楽を奏でてみせた。
ミズキ：「すごいな」
ナツメ：「これは学校で流行ったんだよ。面白い曲って。僕もこれしか弾けないし」
ミズキ：「誰かに習ったわけじゃないのか？」
ナツメ：「見て覚えたんだよ。僕も弾けるんだから、ミズキくんもピアノを弾くくらいわけないって」
ミズキ：「そんな簡単なものなのかな………」
Natsume : "The piano seems to be in a good condition"
As Natsume's fingers are placed on the white keys, the piano starts singing in pure tones.
Natsume keeps placing his hands on the keys, and starts playing a lively music by moving his fingers elaborately.
Mizuki : "Wow, you are great"
Natsume : "This was popular in the school. A fun music piece. I can only play this piece"
Mizuki :"Didn't you learn how to play the piano from someone?"
Natsume : "I learned how to play the piano by seeing. I can play it, so it must be easy for you to play it too"
Mizuki : "Is can't be that simple......."
？？？：「………そのピアノ………」
ミズキ：「っ？！」
ヒイラギ：「音程が狂ってるね」
ナツメ：「ヒイラギさん？ どうしてここに………」
ヒイラギ：「ネムくんが教えてくれたよ。二人がここにいるって」
ヒイラギ：「退屈だったから見にきたんだけど………お邪魔だったかな」
ミズキ：「滅相もないです！」
ナツメ：「ところで、ピアノの音程が狂ってるって………」
ヒイラギ：「全体的に半音くらいずれて………、………っ」
???:"That piano..."
Mizuki:"Wh!?"
Hiiragi:"It is out of tune"
Natsume:"Hiiragi?Why you are here....."
Hiiragi:Nem told me both of you are here"
Hiiragi:"Am i interuppting?I just came cause i was bored..."
Mizuki:"Not at all!"
Natsume:"By the way, you just said this Piano is out of tune..."
Hiiragi:"The entire pitch is about semitone shiftin..............."
