Indian Group Buying Site MyDala.com Raises $3.6 Million from Info Edge
Indian group buying website MyDala.com, has raised second round funding of Rs 18 crores ($3.6 million) from Info Edge (India).
This follows its initial funding of 9 crores ($1.8 million) from Info Edge and Rs 1.1 crores ($250,000) from the founders of CX Partners.
Launched in November 2009, the start-up claims to be the first group-buying site in India and had recently hit the 3 million subscribers milestone. It had also released a BlackBerry app in August, which enabled users to easily browse through the deals in their area and pay for them using the integrated payment options in the app.
