We recommend to install booster pump for back washing line because there is better result.

And you request to connect pump for inlet side but we would like to recommend for outlet side.
Because back washing flow is from outlet side to inlet side, so if there is an extremely high pressure difference, it will be difficult to make flow of back washing to make high pressure for outlet side even if we increase pressure from inlet side.
