世の中には軽率に保証人となって財産を失い、苦しい立場に立たされる人が多くいます。信じる者は、対面や義理、義侠心で、後先考えずに保証人になってしまうことのないように注意すべきです。もし保証人になって苦難に陥ったのであれば、すぐに行ってすばやく自分を救い出すべきです（5）。それは、利己心のためではありません。軽率な保証によって財産と友だちを失い、自分の家族まで失うかもしれません。そしてそれは信仰までも捨て去るような愚かさを避けるためであり、責任のある社会生活をおくるためです。
There are many people who lost their property because they carelessly became a guarantor, and put themselves in a very difficult position.
