東方神起とは" 東方の神が起きる！ " という意味で、アジア全域から世界にその名を広げられるグループとして名付けられた。2004年2月に韓国でデビュー。日本においてもJ-POPの新人として、2005年4月にデビューを果たす。現在その圧倒的な人気は韓国・日本だけに留まらず、中国、台湾、タイ、マレーシアを始めアジア各国でその名を轟かせており、2006、2007年でのアジアツアーを大成功させている。
Tohoshinki refers to the rising of Gods from the East and is given to a group that has spread its good reputation from all over Asia to the world. It made its debut in South Korea in February 2004. Even in Japan, it successfully debuted as a new J-Pop artiste group in April 2005. Now its overwhelming popularity is not only limited to South Korea and Japan but has made its mark in countries all over Asia, including China, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Its tour in Asia in 2006 and 2007 was wildly successful.
2011年待望の再始動以降は、アジアだけに留まらず欧米諸国、ヨーロッパにまでその存在を渇望され、世界的に活動を行っている。
After their awaited reboot on 2011, they have desired not only in Asia but also in Western countries and in Europe, and they have been performing worldwide.
2013年自身初の 5大ドームツアー、さらに海外アーティスト初の 単独日産スタジアム公演を開催。また、2012年「東方神起 LIVE TOUR 2012 ～TONE～」、2013年「東方神起 LIVE TOUR 2013 ～TIME～」、「東方神起 LIVE TOUR 2014 ～TREE～」の3年間で海外アーティストとしては史上最多、最速の200万人を動員。
In 2013, they made 5 largest dome tour by themselves for the first time, and also held a concert in Nissan Stadium by themselves as a first foreign artist.
In 2012, they held "Tohoshinki Live Tour 2012～Tone～", and in 2013, "Tohoshinki Live Tour 2013～Time～" and
"Tohoshinki Live Tour 2014～Tree～".
In 3 years, they held the largest number of concert as a foreign artist at highest speed where 2 million people
participated in.
2015年には記念すべき日本デビュー10周年を迎え、自身２度目の全国５大ドームツアー「東方神起LIVE TOUR 2015 ～WITH～」を行い圧巻のライブステージを披露した。音楽シングル総売り上げ枚数海外アーティスト歴代1位など 、数々の輝かしい記録を打ち立てている。
They reached the memorable tenth anniversary from the debut in 2015 in Japan and I performed their second national 5 large domes tour "2015 TOHO SHINKI LIVE TOUR - WITH -" showing the live broadcasting stages with really overwhelming impact. They established many bright records, too, including the music single total sales number of foreign country artist number in history.
