As [long/far] as we (continue to) use the conventional (form of) energy such as oil and nuclear power, we cannot expect any further advancement [in our [culture/cultural standard] / of our civilization].
Where a new form of energy is created is where a new form of culture and society opens up.
What's important is what [sort/kind] of lifestyle we [dream of/long for/desire].
We should go back to the fundamentals and rethink from a light of a single candle.

As long using traditional energies like oil and nuclear power, we cannot hope our cultural improvement. It is where a new energy is made that brand new cultures and societies are developed. What counts most is what kind of life we dream of in the future. We need to go back to the basics of one candle light and reconsider it.
