外国人観光客向け新情報誌『Kyoto Recommends』の創刊について
この度，公益社団法人京都市観光協会では，外国人観光客向けに，英語による新情報誌『Kyoto Recommends』を発刊しますのでお知らせします。

Creation of the "Kyoto Recommends", a new publication for foreign sightseers
We announce that Kyoto City Tourism Association is going to issue the new publication "Kyoto Recommends" in English for foreign sightseers.
特集ページでは，「京都の旅を提案する」をコンセプトに，外国人観光客により深く多様な京都を楽しんでもらえるよう，毎号エリアやテーマを設定し京都の魅力を紹介します。初回は，愛宕神社の門前町として古の面影が残る嵯峨鳥居本エリアを特集しています。新情報誌のもう一つの特徴は，京都ならではの旅を楽しむためには欠かせない情報として，「食べる」・「買う」そして近年需要の高い「体験する」の3つのカテゴリーで，当協会の会員施設をピックアップして紹介します。
The featured page, titled "Suggested Tour of Kyoto" aims to introduce the charms of Kyoto by featuring a different area and theme every issue, allowing overseas visitors to enjoy a an even more diverse Kyoto. The first issue will feature Saga-Toriimoto, a town built around Atago Jinja where traces of the old remains. Another feature of this new information magazine introduces information, specially picked by our members, that are not to be missed in for tourists to enjoy their stay in Kyoto. These are separated into three categories: "Food", "Shopping", as well as "Experience" which has grown in demand over the recent years.
JR京都駅ビル2階の京都総合観光案内所や当協会事務所にて，窓口を訪れる外国人観光客を中心に配布しています。
