I went to post office again to make a damage claim and once again they tell me the only way to make a damage claim is on the USPS website! They do not take claims in person
But they also told me that the website if ONLY for shipments starting in the US with a U S insurance and tracking number.
They say for shipments starting in Japan, that you must make the damage claim through the company who took the shipment and provided the insurance
I still went on the website to make a claim, and they are right: It doesn't not go through (see link to U S damage claim web page and copy of error below)

ウェブサイトでの受付もアメリカ発送のアメリカで保険をかけた追跡できる荷物においてのみだと言われました。
日本から発送した荷物は、発送業者と保険会社にクレームを出さなければなりません。
ウェブサイトでクレームできるかも見てみましたが、彼らの言う通りでした。受け付けしてくれません（US破損苦情ウェブページのリンクを参照し、下部のエラー文面をご覧ください）。
I have spent too much time on this issue as I have to leave work every time I go to the post office (3 times now)!
I am hopeful you can figure out how to solve this problem as there is nothing else I can do from my end.
The tone arm looks different than the original and is not passing the apt tonearm test but I guess it could be because of some other problem. I am looking into it. Do let me know if the complete tonearm base replacement is available with you
It s a 2011-model. I think it s called chaser.
How do I know if its a i or a L series? (Tried to google but couldn t find any info)
