コンベンション業界の２団体、日本PCO協会（JAPCO）と日本コンベンション事業協会（CPA）が４月１日に合併。国内最大のコンベンション団体「日本コンベンション協会（JCMA）」が発足した。
新協会では、事業者のさらなる専門性を高め、教育機関とも協力を図りながら次世代のコンベンション人材の発掘や教育を行ない、同分野の人材層を厚くしMICE国際競争力の強化に貢献していく。
「人が集うと世界が動く」を合言葉に、感動体験を世界中に展開する専門家集団として活動する。
Two organizations of the convention industry, Japan PCO Association (JAPCO) and Nippon Convention business Association (CPA) is merged on April 1. The nation's largest convention organization "Nippon Convention Association (JCMA)" was launched.
The new association both plans cooperation with educational institutions and finds and educates human resources of next generation in convention industry to increase the additional expertise of the operators. Also, it will be contributed to the strengthening of MICE international competitiveness by thickening the personnel layer in the same field.
Their slogan is When persons gather, they move the world", and they will act as an expert group to expand the impressive experience around the world.
