The hot plate used for the measurement is 10cm square type of whichi temperature is controlled at 30C(Fig.2).The size of woven fabric sample is 10cm square along with warp and weft direction.All the mesurements are carried out in the constant temperature and humidity room of 20C,65%RH.Mesurement starts at the moment of contact between fabric specimen and hot plate(or wetted fabric or Goretex),and the duration of the measurement is 20min.Measurement items are heat loss and surface temperature of fabric.

測定に使われた熱プレートは温度が30℃に制御された10cm四方のものです（第２図）。織繊維サンプルのサイズは縦糸と横糸の各方向に10cm四方です。全ての測定は、一定の温度（20℃）と湿度（65%）の室内で行われました。測定は繊維見本と熱プレートとの接触が始まった瞬間（あるいは繊維かゴアテックスが湿気を含んだ瞬間）に開始し、測定の時間は20分間です。測定項目は熱損失と繊維の表面の熱です。

測定に用いたホットプレートのサイズは１０ｃｍ平方で、温度は300度に保たれている。（図２）　織った繊維試料は縦横ともに１０ｃｍである。測定はすべて一定温度（20度）、一定湿度（６５％RH）に保たれた試験室で行う。繊維試料（濡れた繊維あるいはゴアテックズを用いる場合もある）とホットプレートが接触した時点から測定を開始し、測定時間は２０分である。測定項目は熱損失と繊維の表面温度である。
