Recently, a very close friend of mine, Larry, passed away unexpectedly. He was a true audiophile and avid tube amp hobbyist; since the 1970s, he collected and restored high end vintage audio equipment. He also built his own pieces. He exercised the majority of his equipment frequently, and any time a piece of equipment did not function to his satisfaction, it went to his bench for service.
