宮本慎也氏は、二部構成で展開した公開講座の第一部にゲストとして登場。プロ野球選手として、また、野球“長嶋ジャパン”キャプテンとしてアテネオリンピック(銅メダル)、そして北京オリンピックに出場した経験をもとに、約60分間にわたって野球、キャプテン、オリンピックに関する思いを語った。
