AVCHD動画に惹かれて買いました。
[静止画]
ハッとする様な美しい写真が撮れる訳ではないですが、相変わらず安定した写真が撮れます。
美肌補正、暗部補正がかなりキッチリ効いたTZ5と比べてナチュラルな方向に味付けしてあります。
個人的にはTZ5が好みでしたが、一眼も使ってるような人はTZ7の方が合うかもしれません（自分も使ってますが）。
どちらのほうが綺麗に撮れる、というほどの違いはありません。
This is a comment as a TZ5 user.
I bought it because I was attracted to AVCHD video.
[Still image]
It can take stable photos as ever, if not it can take beautiful photos that startles you.
It can make skin correction and dark correction naturally, compared to TZ5 that can do these things fairly tightly.
Personally I liked TZ5. But if you also use SLR, TZ7 might be better (I also use it).
There is no difference where we can say one can take clearer photos than the other.
高ISOノイズは若干減った感じでしょうか。
フォーカスのスピードはかなり速くなりました。
TZ5もキッチリ合わせてくれて安心でしたが、精度を維持したまま速くなった感じです。
逆にズームの動き出しは遅くなった感じです。
個人的には料理の写真が安定して無難に撮れるようになったのが、収穫でした。
[動画]
TZ5もハーフハイビジョンサイズで撮影できましたが、ファイルサイズが増えるのでSDサイズで使ってました。
TZ7は720pでガンガン撮れます。
Noises in high ISO might have decreased some.
The focus speed is much faster.
TZ5 also had a good focus, but this one got faster without losing the accuracy.
Instead, zooming got slower somehow.
Personally I liked that I can take images of my cooking more stably.
[Movie]
I took movies in the half high vision size for TZ5, but since the file size got larger, so I used SD size.
I can do at 720p with TZ7.
TZ5と比べるとフォーカスが速く、さらに安定しています。
ズームはやっぱりスローですが、メカノイズが少し減ってますね。
音は大分良くなってます。
白とびがやや気になりますが、SDのDVカムと比べると画質もいいです。
CCDの画素数が十分にあるせいか、解像感はかなりあります。
同等品ではありませんが、キヤノンのHF10と比べると撮り終わった後に
キッチリ書き込み時間がありますが、十分ムービーカムとして使えます。
Compare to TZ5, the focus speed is faster and more stable.
The zoom is slower, but mechanical noises are less.
The sound is much better.
There is some over exposure, but the image quality is better compare to SD DV camera.
Since CCD has plenty of pixels, the resolution is very high.
Compare to Canon HF10 (not in the same category though), there is more writing time after capturing an image, but still it works just fine as a movie camera.
動画撮影ボタンがカシオのように独立して、すぐ撮れるようになったのは
非常に快適です。
ただしボタンの位置はいまいちなので、適当に扱うと動画の最初が
必ず手振れから始まります。ブラインド操作には不向きな場所です。
[液晶]
TZ5もかなり良かったので普通に見るには変わらない印象です。
TZ7はハイアングル・ローアングルでも完璧に見えるようになりました。
[ソフト]
パナソニックのHD対応ソフトは本当に素晴らしいと思います。
Movie button is separated like Casio, so it is easier to take movies.
But the place of the button is not the best for blind control because if I do not be careful, the movie gets hand vibration at the beginning.
[LCD]
TZ5 also had a very good image quality, so it seems not much of difference.
For TZ7, I can see perfectly both in high angle and low angle.
[Software]
I think the Panasonic's software for HD is really good.
機能ではなく処理のことです。
私のPCはNorthwood Pen4の2.8GHzのCPUに2GのDual Chメモリーと、
明らかに前の時代のものですが、付属のPHOTOfunSTUDIO HD Editionで
なんの問題もなくプレビューでき、カット編集および書き込み出来ます。
MPEG2へ変換してのDVD作成もちょっと時間はかかりますが問題なしです。
このソフトではAVCHDからの静止画書き出しが出来ないのが
少々残念ですが。
[バッテリー]
I mean the processing, but not the function.
My PC has a Pentium 4 "Northwood” with 2.8GHz CPU and a Dual-channel memory which is obviously the style of a decade ago. However, I was able to preview, cut and edit images and add texts using the attached PHOTOfunSTUDIO HD Edition software without a problem.
It takes time making DVD when the data was converted into MPEG-2 but it can also be done without a problem. It’s too bad that you can’t cut out a still image out from the AVCHD with this software.
[Battery]
持ちが悪くなったと感じます。
TZ5もCIPA300枚ですが、容量が減った分早くなくなるようです。
ムービーとして使う方はSDカードの予備より、バッテリーの予備のほうが
必要でしょう。
[ボディ]
ハッキリスリムになって、スマートになりました。
ホールド性もキッチリ落ちました。
まあしょうがないでしょう。
[個人認識]
期待してなかったのですが、一枚写真を覚えさせるだけで結構認識します。
I think it lasts less than before.
CIPA is 300 pic for TZ5 as well, but since it has less capacity, it loses battery faster.
Those who use the movie might need an extra battery instead of SD card.
[Body]
It is definitely more slim and smarter.
It also lost some grip of course though.
[Personal recognition]
I did not expect much, but it recognizes well by just recording one image.
横顔では認識しませんが、一度正面で認識するとずっと追っかけてくれます。
このあたりは追っかけフォーカスが追加された恩恵でしょうか。
大分長くなってしまいました。
基本的に大満足してることを、付け加えておきたいと思います。
It does not recognize in profile, but once it recognizes in front, it will follow continuously.
This may be because the following focus has been added.
It has become pretty long.
I'd like to add that I am basically very happy.
