観光庁は8月28日、2015年度予算の概算要求概要を発表。今年度予算の84％増の180億700万円としている。
MICEについては前年の4億5000万円から2億2000万円と減少しているが、ビジットジャパン事業と｢国際会議等（MICE）の誘致・開催の促進｣については、一部を除き日本政府観光局（JNTO）を事業の実施主体とすることが決まっており、ビジットジャパン事業とMICE促進、JNTO運営費交付金を合わせると、146億9200万円となり、今年度の71％増となる。

Japan Tourism Agency announced the summary budgetary request for the next fiscal year 2015 on Aug. 28. The request was amounting to 18,007,000,000 yen and which was 84% increase compared with this fiscal year 2014.
The budgetary request for MICE was reduced from 450,000,000 yen in previous fiscal year to 220,000,000 yen. However, because the main implementing body of the Visit Japan project excepting some portion was determined to be carried out by Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO), and the summation of the budgetary request for the Visit Japan project, MICE promotion, and the Management Expenses Grants becomes 14,692, 000,000 yen in total and which was increased by 71%.

August 28, Japan Tourism Agency announced the overview of 2015 fiscal year request for budgetary appropriations. It is 18.07 billion yen, 84% increase in this year's budget.
