観光庁は8月28日、2015年度予算の概算要求概要を発表。今年度予算の84％増の180億700万円としている。

MICEについては前年の4億5000万円から2億2000万円と減少しているが、ビジットジャパン事業と｢国際会議等（MICE）の誘致・開催の促進｣については、一部を除き日本政府観光局（JNTO）を事業の実施主体とすることが決まっており、ビジットジャパン事業とMICE促進、JNTO運営費交付金を合わせると、146億9200万円となり、今年度の71％増となる。

August 28, Japan Tourism Agency announced the overview of 2015 fiscal year request for budgetary appropriations. It is 18.07 billion yen, 84% increase in this year's budget.

It is decreased to 220 million yen from 450 million yen of the previous year for MICE, but as for Visit Japan Project and "the promotion to attract and to be held international conferences, etc. (MICE)", Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has been determined to be main project operator except for some, the combined amount of Visit Japan Project, MICE promotion and the JNTO operating expense subsidy, is 14.692 billion yen, 71% increase of this year.
