2008年6月発売した「MOON」ではブラック・ アイド・ピーズ“ファーギー”とのコラボレーション曲「That Ain't Cool“PUSHIM（プシン）”作詞/作曲のラバーズ・レゲエ、他一曲と、海外ビッグアーティストを迎えての4曲入りマキシシングルをリリース。
Her best albums released in 2005 and 2006 both recorded the 2 million sales.
She also made a great success in the solo performance at the Tokyo Dome on December 2007.

2009年3月には実妹であるmisonoとのコラボレーション曲「It' s all Love!」を 発表、兄弟・姉妹では史上初となる初登場1位を獲得。
同5月東京・国立代々木競技場第一体育館にて全国ツアー『Koda Kumi Live Tour 2009-TRICK-』を開催し、人気米歌手・ファーギー率いるブラック・アイド・ピーズがサプライズ参加。2008年に発表したコラボ楽曲「That Ain’t Cool」を熱唱するなど、一夜限りのパフォーマンスで観客を熱狂の渦へと誘った。
On March 2009, she sang "It's all Love!" with her sister and it was ranked the first which was the first single ranked the first and released by brothers or sisters in the world.
On May in the same year, she held the national tour, "Koda Kumi Live Tour 2009-TRICK-" at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium where the Black Eyed Peas headed by a popular American singer Fergie surprisingly appeared on the stage. They song together their collaboration song released in 2008, "That Ain't Cool" and roused the audience.
同７月には、日本を代表するファッション誌「ViVi」の誌面にて、08年に引き続き、海外ビッグアーティストのLady Gagaとコラボレーションし対談が実現。
同10月には海外では初めて、台湾にてワンマンライブを行った。
2006年～09年までベストトジーニスト賞を4年連続受賞、08年にはネイルクイーン 「アーティスト部門」の3年連続受賞・殿堂入りを果たす。
In July of the same year, she held a discussion with another famous foreign artist, Lady Gaga, in the pages of the fashion magazine ViVi.
In October of that year, she did her first overseas one-man concert in Taiwan.
From 2006 to 2009, she has won the Best Jeanist award four years in a row, and in '08 she won the Nail Queen's Best Artist award for three years in a row and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

7月には日本人女性アーティストと しては初となる横浜スタジアム2DAYSのライブを成功させ、その模様が音楽ライブとして日本で初めて3D生放送された。
In February of 2010, her album "BEST～ third universe～ & 8th AL 'UNIVERSE'" went on sale and went on to top the Oricon weekly rankings. Later in July she was the first female artist to successfully do a two-day concert at Yokohama Stadium, and it was the first musical concert to be broadcast in 3D in Japan.
2010年10月、初のカバーアルバム『ETERNITY ～Love & Songs～』をリリース。東京、大阪でそれぞれ計4日間、計16公演に渡り初のビルボードライブを開催。 同12月、東京ドームにて10周年最後のライブ「KODA KUMI 10th Anniversary ～FANTASIA～」を開催。邦楽ソロ女性アーティスト7人目。2007年以来、2度目の 公演を慣行し47,000人動員のチケットが即完。大成功を収める。
On October 2010, she released her first cover album "ETERNITY ～Love & Songs～." She did a total of 16 concerts in 4 days in both Tokyo and Osaka in her first Billboard Live. in December of the same year at the Tokyo Dome, she did her last concert to celebrate her ten-year anniversary "KUMI KODA 10th Anniversary ～FANTASIA～." She's the seventh female solo artist of Japanese music. It is her second such performance since 2007, and she was able to attract 47,000 fans and sell out the tickets in minutes. It was a huge success.
2011年3月、9枚目のオリジナルアルバム「Dejavu」リリース。オリコンウィークリー ランキング1位を獲得。同4月、約4年ぶりの全国ホールツアー「Koda Kumi Live Tour 2011 ～Dejavu～」を開催。各地軒並みSOLD OUT。
In March 2011, she released her ninth original album "Dejavu." It topped Oricon's weekly rankings. In April of the same year, she held her first nationwide hall tour in four years "Kumi Koda Live Tour 2011 ～Dejavu～." Every location was sold out.
同5月、10周年を記念して東京ドームにて行われたライブ映像「KODA KUMI 10th Anniversary ～FANTASIA～」をリリース。オリコンウィークリーランキング1位 を獲得し、「通算首位獲得数」「首位獲得連続年数」、「作品別歴代DVD女性ソロアーティ スト累積売上1位」の3冠達成。
2012年1月、10枚目のオリジナルアルバム「JAPONESQUE」をリリース。オリコンウィークリーランキング1位を獲得。
In May of that year, she released live footage of her 10-year anniversary performance at the Tokyo Dome "KUMI KODA 10th Anniversary ～FANTASIA～." It topped Oricon's weekly rankings. and she achieved the triple crown of "Most #1 Rankings," "Most Number of Years In A Row With #1 Ranking," and "Number One Female Solo Artists in Terms of Total Successive DVD Sales." In January 2012, she released her 10th original album "JAPONESQUE." It of course topped the Oricon weekly rankings.
「アルバム首位連続年数」でソロ歴代３位の快挙を成し遂げる。更に、10月24日には53枚目となるニュー•シングル「Go to the top」を発売。TVアニメ「トータル•イクリプス」のオープニングテーマ曲として抜擢。
また、11月7日の大阪城ホールを皮切りに東京、名古屋、福島にてプレミアムライブ「Koda Kumi Premium Night～Love & Songs～」を開催。
She's number three in term of solo artists who topped the charts in consecutive years. Furthermore, in October 24, she released her 53rd new single "Go to the top." It was chosen as the opening theme of the TV anime "Total Eclipse."
Also, she did the premium concert "Kumi Koda Premium Night～Love & Songs～" which was first held at Osaka-Jo Hall, and then went on to be held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Fukushima.
2012年12月、2007年に発売した「愛のうた」に続く極上のラブバラードソング「恋しくて」をリリース。
2013年2月には2作目となるカバーアルバム「Color The Cover」を発売。初回生産盤には、日本を代表するフォトグラファーの蜷川 実花氏が撮り下ろしたフォトブックレット、そして自身初となるドキュメンタリー映像をDVDに収録。
In December 2012, she released the ultimate love ballad "Koishikute (Yearning)" which was a followup to 2007's "Ai no Uta (Love's Song)."
In February 2013, she released her second cover album "Color The Cover." The first-print album contained the photo booklet done by the quintessential Japanese photographer Mika Ninagawa, and she recorded her first documentary DVD.
