東京観光財団がベストシティーズに加盟
4月14日、ザ・キャピトルホテル東京で、東京観光財団が『ベストシティーズ・グローバルアライアンス』に加盟する調印式が行なわれた。
同連盟は、国際会議誘致を拡大へ向けて加盟都市相互の知見や情報共有を行なうため、2000年に設立された。国際的なコンベンション・ビューローの連盟としては加盟団体が最も多く、歴史あるアライアンスとなっている。
1地域に１都市の加盟が限定で、加盟者同士の競合がなく積極的な情報交換が行なわれる。

Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau joined Best Cities
On April 14th, in Capital Hotel Tokyo, signing ceremony where Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau joined "Best Cities Global Alliance" was held.
The Alliance was established in 2000 to share knowledge and information of member cities for expansion of inviting international conference.
It has the largest members as an alliance of international convention bureau, and has history.
Only 1 city in 1 area can join it, and members are not competitive and they exchange informatin actively.
