マリーナ・ベイ・サンズはシンガポールの施設として初めて、イベント・サステナビリティ・マネジメントシステムに関する国際認証ISO20121を取得した。
同社ではすでにECO360℃という名称でサステナビリティ戦略を進めており、環境負荷低減やビル運営の持続可能性の向上に取り組んできた。
認証取得による長期的な環境保護と持続可能性の高いイベント開催のコミットメントは、CSRのニーズが高まるMICE誘致競争において大きな武器となりそうだ。

MBS obtains ISO20121 as the first facility in Singapore
Marina Bay Suns obtained international authorization ISO20121 in respect with event sustainability manangement system as the first facility in Singapore.
The company has already proceeded a strategy of sustainability by the name of ECO 360 degrees centigrade, and has been working on reduction of loading on environment and improvement of sustainability for building management.
The commitment by protection of environment on the long term by obtaining authorization and holding an event with high sustainability is going to be a powerful weapon in competition inviting MICE where needs of CSR is increased.
