参道からずっと階段続きではありますが、周囲の変化する景色を堪能しているとあっと言う間に本堂です。
本堂からの景色を堪能する
こちらが長谷寺の本堂。国宝です。
傾斜地や崖の上に造られる懸造（かけづくり）と呼ばれる建築様式。
舞台がせり出すように造られているため、舞台造りとも呼ばれます。
見晴らしは最高。
舞台の周囲は木々に覆われ、秋は紅葉に包まれます。
本堂横手からカメラを構えると、長谷寺本堂に安置される「びんずる尊者」がシルエットで浮かび上がります。

Although there were long stairs from the approach, we got to the main hall so soon because we were admiring the changing scenery surrounding us.

This is the main hall of Hasedera temple. It is a national treasure.
Its architecture is called "Kakezukuri" because it is built on a sloping land or a precipice.
It is also called "Butaizukuri" because its stage is sticking out.
Its view is excellent.
There are trees around the stage, whose leaves will be red and yellow in autumn.
The silhouette of "Binzuru sonja" in the main hall can be seen in the lens of a camera if you hold a camera at the side of the main hall.
