萌えおこし（もえおこし）は、美少女キャラクターを前面に押し出した地域おこしの手法。転じて地方自治体や政府の出先機関、ローカル企業のマスコットやイメージキャラクターに萌えを意識したデザインを取り入れるマーケティング手法。萌え起こし、或いは萌え興しと表記される場合もある。
