The number of foreign visitors to 2013 MICE was 1,013,502 people, which was an increase of 13.21 % compared to last year. The sales of MICE industry increased 10.93 % of 8,844,850 baht, which was much higher than the annual target.
In addition, it showed direction of migrations such as targeting high-end MICE market.
Aggressive activities from TCEB such as achieving 10 % increase of MICE industry sales to 96.9 billion baht in 2014 is likely to follow.
