I have lived in Kyoto for a long time, but I was hesitant to pay a visit it since I’ve heard that it is on the top of a steep mountain. Finally, I decided to visit there because it is one of world heritages.

Kozan-ji is dotted with several buildings in the mountain. It is a completely different world from the city of Kyoto. It is just now that there is national road and people can visit here driving a car. However, it used to be in a dense mountain. Solemnity and quietness must be no comparison to now.

In a shrine, there is Japan’s oldest tea filed as it is said that this place is the birthplace of tea. Listening the nature while having tea.

I have lived in Kyoto for a long time. I hang back to go a temple, because I head that it stands on the rugged mountain, but it is world's cultural heritage, thus I will try to visit to the temple finally.

The Takayamadera, its buildings scattered in a mountain, though it is in Kyoto city, there is another world. Now, there is a national highway through here, and you can visit by car easily. But formerly, it was in the a heavily-wooded mountain, and it seems that there graveness and quietness was nothing compared to what one is now.

It is said the tea birthplace, and there is the Japanese oldest tea plantation in the precincts here.
I have Japanese green tea and listen to it naturally.

I have been living in Kyoto for a long time. I have finally decided to visit because I heard it was registered with the World Heritage although I heard that it's on top of the very steep mountain.

The Buildings of Kozanji-Temple is scattered throughout of the mountain. It is such a different atmosphere from the rest of the city even though it is inside the boundary of Kyoto city. We now have a highway access there but it used to be secluded deep wood. It is said that the solemnity and serenity is incomparable in the past to the modern days.

There is the oldest tea farm of Japan in the temple. It is believe that Japanese tea culture was born in this place.

Have some tea, and please listen to the nature.

“Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga” is one of national treasures from late 12th century and it is said that the origin of cartoon.
Scenes of plays such as water play, bow, and Sumo, Buddhist memorial services, and fights by animals are described satirically.
Using lively lines, this writing is a full of spirit and humor.

I retain sympathy with the author’s sense of making a frog a main character, besides rabbit and fox.

"Birds and beasts person caricature (Ch j -jinbutsu-giga)" is a national treasure considered to be the work of the latter half in the twelfth century, it said that it is the origin of comics.
The scenes of playgame such as the playing with water/ the bowing / the sumo by the animal, or the Buddhist memorial service / the fighting are drawn on satirically.
A stroke of the pen I am lively, and to be full of humor that made full use of a drawn line with the intonation.

I understand the rabbits and the foxes, and I feel sympathy to the sense of the author who has drawn the frogs as the central character.
