Cycling around Fuji-Goko (Five lakes in Fuji) is also recommended. You can enjoy 40km ride from the eastern lake, Yamanakako, to western lake, Motosuuko. There is various type of rental bike ready and you can select what you like.

I recommend the cycling course to see the five lakes of Mt.Fuji. It is about 40km touring course from Lake.Yamanaka lake located on the eastern part of five lakes of Mt. Fuji to Lake.Motosu located on the western part.Since there are some kinds of bicycles for rental,you can choose your favorite one among them.
In Fujikawaguchiko, there are four lakes among five lakes of Mt.Fuji. You can enjoy fishing,recreation on the water,etc. Above all, I recommend the school or rental service of canoe in Kawaguchiko. Then you will see the scenery of Mt.Fuji from the lake.
