Charlotte, from "Charlotte's Web," is a spider but spiders normally have the impression of being creepy or scary.
In Japanese legends, it's a good omen to see a spider in the morning but a bad one to see a spider at night. This is because it's said that morning spiders bring with them customers while night spiders bring with them burglars.
Are there legends on spiders in your countries? And do you have legends that have different meanings depending on the circumstances?
